Two Mafia wise guys, Sonny and Archie, work for a ruthless mob boss, Ma, shaking down local businesses and taking out rivals. As a comet approaches, Sonny reconsiders his life, wanting to retire and start a family. They plan to hijack a convoy carrying the wealthy elite's valuables and stash, but rival Chinese Mafia leader Barry Ling also wants the loot. Federal agents use a former Mafia moll as bait, planning to apprehend Ma and Ling while lining their own pockets. Meanwhile, the mayor is on the take.
