Bad Blonde background

Bad Blonde

A calculating blonde orchestrates the murder of her husband, a brutal fight promoter, by manipulating a boxer into committing the crime.

A trained amateur boxer, Johnny Flanigan, impresses carnival promoters with his skills and is taken under their wing to launch a comeback into prizefighting. Backed by wealthy Italian Giuseppe Vecchi, Flanigan's future looks promising until he meets Giuseppe's wife Lorna, a trophy wife eager to show her displeasure at her husband's eccentricities. Lorna seduces Flanigan, and soon they're embroiled in an affair, with Lorna plotting to kill her husband to become a wealthy widow. Two murders follow, but Lorna ultimately gets her comeuppance, ruining everyone's relationships and future in the process.
