Amour Fou

In 19th century Berlin, a young poet named Heinrich becomes obsessed with the idea of conquering death through love. He proposes a suicide pact to his skeptical cousin Marie, but she refuses, leaving Heinrich heartbroken. It's then that he meets Henriette, the alluring wife of a business acquaintance, who is struggling with a terminal illness.
