The Return of Godzilla

A Japanese fishing vessel faces a monstrous encounter during a severe storm. The wreckage is discovered by journalist Goro Maki, who finds a sole survivor, Hiroshi Okumura. As Okumura recovers, he reveals to Goro and Dr. Hayashida that the creature he saw was a revived Godzilla. The government conceals this information to prevent panic, amidst rising tensions between the US and Soviet Union. However, when Godzilla destroys a Soviet submarine, both superpowers threaten to bomb Japan to stop the monster, escalating the crisis.
