A gentle elderly man, Daikichi, resides on a tranquil island, surrounded by his loyal feline companion and cherished friendships. Despite his son's departure to Tokyo, Daikichi finds solace in his simple life, nurturing his bond with nature and reminiscing about the past. However, the inevitability of change looms large, as friends succumb to the natural passage of time, the environment undergoes transformation, and the weight of aging slowly begins to take its toll.
