Billy Carson finds himself mistaken for his doppelganger, "Drifter" Davis, who is wanted for a string of bank robberies. When Davis is imprisoned, Billy sees an opportunity to clear his name and impersonates Davis, joining the Sally Dawson Medicine Show as a sharpshooter. As he gets closer to uncovering the truth behind the robberies, his friend Fuzzy's interference causes chaos by helping Davis escape, thinking he's the real Billy.
