Spinning Into Butter

Sarah Daniels, a teacher from Lancaster, moves to Belmont, Vermont, seeking a predominantly white environment. She becomes employed at Belmont College, but keeps her past experiences with prejudice hidden. When an African-American student, Simon Brick, becomes a hate crime victim, Sarah's past comes back to haunt her, and she's tasked with being a liaison for minorities and creating a 10-point plan to combat racism.
