In the scorching Libyan Desert, a tank crew led by Sergeant Joe Gunn takes in a diverse group of survivors, including five British soldiers, a Frenchman, and a Sudanese man, as well as an Italian prisoner, who are all desperately seeking to reunite with their comrades after the fall of Tobruk.
