Ruby Gentry

Ruby Corey and Boake Tackman, from different social classes, grew up together in 1950s North Carolina. Their friendship blossomed into romantic attraction, but Boake only saw it as a game. He married a wealthy woman, leaving Ruby heartbroken. Seeking revenge, Ruby married Jim Gentry, a rich, debt-ridden widower, and after his death, she exacted revenge on the town by calling in their debts, becoming their biggest nightmare.
