A former prisoner, Mekko, arrives in Tulsa with no home or family, and after being rejected by a distant cousin, he must resort to living on the streets. He finds solace with a community of homeless Native Americans, but soon faces conflicts with a menacing figure, Bill, whom he believes is a witch. Mekko turns to his grandmother's teachings to rid the community of this evil presence, while seeking redemption and the strength to forgive himself for past mistakes.
