Jamal Jeffries, a former bad boy of basketball, gets kicked out of the league due to his undisciplined behavior. To his surprise, he makes the team, but now he must become Juwanna and leave his old life behind. Complications arise when Juwanna develops feelings for his teammate Michelle, who shows him there's more to women than he initially thought.
