An Indian woman, Sushmita, falls in love with an Afghan man, Jaanbaaz, and marries him, but their relationship is met with opposition from her family. After relocating to Afghanistan, Sushmita is shocked by the war-torn country's harsh realities, including corpses, explosions, and militant activity. Despite her initial desire to return home, she finds solace in Jaanbaaz's family, who welcome her, but not everyone is convinced of her conversion to Islam.
