The film follows six friends, all in their late 20s, who are part of a rock band called the "Why Notes?" as they embark on a three-day journey to Paris for a performance at Charles's school reunion. Along the way, they encounter a cast of colorful characters, including Aimee's ex-husband, Louise's would-be lover with a secret, Mickey's long-term partner and her children, and Bertrand's German wife and their bilingual kids.
