In a bustling Rio de Janeiro train station, a gruff old woman named Dora spends her days writing and sending letters for travelers. Her latest task is a poignant one: helping a young boy named Josue reunite with his estranged father. After his mother's tragic passing, Josue's search for his father begins with a series of letters penned by Dora, who takes it upon herself to guide the boy on an emotional journey to find the man he's never known.
