In a world where some are consumed by life, Raimundo Nonato finds his own path: cooking to survive and find his place. With no money, he starts working at a rundown bar, learning to fry pastries and snacks under the harsh neon light. Despite being ignorant, Nonato's talent shines, and soon others take notice. He attracts Iria, a prostitute who loves food, and Giovanni, a restaurateur who offers him a job. However, a turn of events lands Nonato in prison, where he becomes a savior for the inmates and their boss, Bujiù, with his culinary skills earning him the nickname Rosemary.
