Ukrainian Sheriffs

In Ukraine, with its massive police force, rural communities are plagued by a lack of law enforcement. The villagers of Stara Zburievka took matters into their own hands by choosing two local men, the smartest and strongest, to maintain public order. Dubbed "sheriffs," they are empowered by the villagers, given a car, and shiny tokens. Their actions, though sometimes wild and violent, are often awkward and funny, yet always deemed fair by the community. However, the recent political upheaval in Ukraine has altered the village's dynamics. Can the sheriffs' activities, initially a protest against the corrupt system, adapt to the new, complex, and revolutionary transition?
