Two men, Godefroy de Montmiral and his loyal servant, are transported through time to the tumultuous period of the French Revolution's Reign of Terror. They find themselves at the mercy of the descendants of Jacquouille La Fripouille, who have seized the castle and wealth of Godefroy's aristocratic family, who are desperately trying to flee France as their lives are threatened.
