A reclusive movie star, Rebecca Fairbanks, returns to the screen after a three-year hiatus, still reeling from a recent breakup with her co-star Jake Fields, who's now married to someone else. As they film a movie about a mass murderer in early 20th-century Indiana, strange deaths begin to occur on set.
Method
The film follows a renowned actress as she assumes the role of Belle Gunness, a notorious 19th century serial killer, and becomes increasingly consumed by the character's dark persona, ultimately losing touch with reality.
