A group of former curlers, now struggling with personal issues, are reunited by the will of their late coach, Donald Foley, to compete in the Golden Broom Bonspiel. The team's lead, Neil, is controlled by his wife, while the second, Eddie, is preoccupied with his wife's ovulation cycles. The third, James, is a drug dealer trying to evade his debtors, and the skip, Chris, is haunted by his decision to break up the team and is struggling to reconnect with his estranged father. The team must put aside their personal issues and come together to win, while also facing off against the reigning champions, the Butte team, led by the arrogant Alexander Yount.
