Biography

Paul Gross, the elder of two brothers, had a unique upbringing as an Army brat, with his father, Bob Gross, serving as a Tank Commander in the Canadian Army. As a result, Paul and his family moved frequently, allowing him to experience life in various countries, including Canada, the United States, England, and Germany.

Growing up, Paul was introduced to the world of acting at a young age, initially during his family's time in Washington. He had the opportunity to perform in stage plays, such as Canterbury Tales and Faustus, which sparked his passion for the craft. From the age of 14, Paul began appearing in television commercials, which not only allowed him to hone his skills but also enabled him to fund his degree in Drama at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

In 2011, Paul Gross made a notable appearance at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, where he played the role of Elyot opposite Kim Cattrall's Amanda in the renowned comedy Private Lives, written by the celebrated playwright Noel Coward.
