In the 1950s, a teenager named Ken Riddle possesses extensive knowledge about sex, but remains a virgin. After being expelled from school for selling explicit drawings to his classmates, Ken is forced to enter the workforce. At his new job, he befriends a rowdy coworker named Barry and butts heads with his strict boss, Arthur. Meanwhile, a charming ladies' man named Max Wiseman begins to pursue Ken's mother, Gwen, who is single and attractive.
