Gabby Dugan, a talented college hockey player, is recruited by a professional hockey team and leads them to first place. He meets Kathleen O'Rourke and her sister Peggy at a skating rink and becomes attracted to Kathleen. However, his career is threatened when a gangster offers him a payoff to throw a game, and his teammate Jumbo mistakenly believes he took the money. As Gabby's vision is affected by a head injury, his playing worsens, and he is eventually fired. With the help of Kathleen, Gabby regains his sight and gets his job back.
