Jaws

A small island community, Amity Island, thrives on its beaches, but when a shark attack victim is discovered, Police Chief Martin Brody wants to close the beaches. However, Mayor Larry Vaughn and local business owners disagree, and Brody reluctantly keeps the beaches open. A young boy is killed, and his mother offers a reward for the shark's capture, attracting amateur hunters. A seasoned fisherman, Quint, offers to hunt the Great White shark for a fee, and he, Brody, and Matt Hooper from the Oceanographic Institute embark on a perilous journey, realizing they need a bigger boat after their initial encounter with the massive predator.
