Cul-de-sac

A fugitive and his ailing accomplice seek shelter at a seaside mansion, where they are initially unwelcome by the castle's timid owner and his strong-willed French wife. As the situation unfolds, the dynamics between the criminal, the wife, and the Englishman become increasingly humorous and unconventional.
