Three friends, Zeke, Jerry, and Smokey, working at a car plant, get a wild idea to rob the local union's bureau safe after a night of drinking and playing hooky from their wives. Although they initially think it's a flop, netting only $600, they soon realize they've also stolen "hot" material that can be used to blackmail the union.
