In the small town of Emmanuel, the annual Christmas pageant is a beloved tradition, but for Beth, it's just another boring event. However, when Mrs. Armstrong, the longtime director, becomes incapacitated, Beth's mom, Grace, takes on the role. Despite being viewed as an "average" mom by the town's alpha moms, Grace hopes to do a great job and prove them wrong.
