Dallas Jenkins began his career in the film industry by producing the independent feature film Hometown Legend at the age of 25, successfully guiding it to distribution by Warner Brothers.
As a young filmmaker, Jenkins made his directing debut with the short film Cliché, and his subsequent short film, Midnight Clear, starring Stephen Baldwin, received critical acclaim, including a Crystal Heart Award from the Heartland Film Festival.
In addition to his work in short films, Jenkins has also ventured into television, serving as the co-executive producer of the Hallmark Channel feature, Though None Go With Me, which aired in April 2006.
Building on his success, Jenkins directed and produced the feature film Midnight Clear, based on his earlier short film, which won numerous awards at festivals across the country and is still available from Lionsgate.
In 2010, Jenkins released his feature film What If..., starring Kevin Sorbo, Kristy Swanson, Debby Ryan, and John Ratzenberger, which premiered in theaters and is still available for viewing.
Most recently, Jenkins produced and directed The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, starring Brett Dalton, Anjelah Johnson, Neal Flynn, D.B. Sweeney, and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, which was released in theaters in January 2017 in partnership with Blumhouse Entertainment, WWE Studios, and Walden Media, and is now available from Universal.
Currently, Jenkins is directing and producing The Chosen, the highest crowd-funded media project of all time, with a remarkable $10 million in funding, and the first-ever multi-season show about the life of Christ.
