Suigin Riku, a poor high school student and gamer, attends a prestigious academy on a scholarship. He falls in love with Rei Riku, the daughter of a game developer, after she saves him from drowning. He also befriends a girl in his favorite online RPG, Dungeon Century. When the game shuts down, he discovers that Rei is the same girl he met in the game. She then gives him a new game, Grave Buster, and is kidnapped soon after. Suigin is pulled into the game to rescue Rei, uncovering secrets and playing through the game to save her.
