In 1992, just after graduating from the University of Iowa, I and my wife Eliza created a time capsule by interviewing a group of friends from our college days. We recorded a random sampling of Iowa college kids, capturing their lives at the time. The tapes were stored in a box and survived multiple moves before being digitized in 2019. Seeing old friends again sparked a desire to reconnect, leading me to track down everyone and interview them again in 2021. This film shares the stories, hopes, dreams, and experiences of myself and five friends over the past 32 years.
