In the picturesque countryside near Naples, three siblings - Antonio, Peppino, and Lucia - live together. Lucia's son Gianni travels to Naples to pursue his medical studies, but he falls for a beautiful ballet dancer. When she leaves for Milan, Gianni decides to follow her, much to the dismay of his uncles, who fear he'll abandon his education.
