In Apache territory, a troop of soldiers, led by a hapless Lieutenant, is ambushed on the Tomahawk Trail. After the Lieutenant's blunders result in stolen horses and a minor injury, Sergeant McCoy assumes command. Despite the odds, McCoy manages to escort the troops to the fort, only to discover that all the soldiers have been brutally slaughtered by the Apaches. With their survival in doubt, McCoy prepares for an attack, aware that if they succeed, the Lieutenant will likely have him court-martialed.
Tomahawk Trail
A bumbling cavalry officer unintentionally walks into an Apache trap on the Tomahawk Trail, suffers injuries during the ensuing battle, and is subsequently reduced in rank by his own sergeant.
