Spring, 1988: George Harrison invites Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan to collaborate on a song at Dylan's L.A. house, resulting in "Handle With Care". The success of this session leads to a week-long recording session at Dave Stewart's house, where the five musicians, plus Jim Keltner, write and record a song a day. The album, released in October, becomes platinum and features a rock video for "End of the Line" serving as a tribute to Orbison after his passing in 1988.
