As a series of bizarre events unfolds, Jingwen's husband, Yuanyang, becomes increasingly erratic and tries to convince her that everything is fine. Despite his efforts, Jingwen's suspicions grow, and she begins to investigate the truth. Meanwhile, a mysterious killer is terrorizing the local citizens, and a sheriff starts to suspect the doctor of being involved in a conspiracy.
