A young woman, Natalia, awakens on a playground, feeling different. She discovers she's invisible to the world around her and struggles to cope with this new reality. Despite her isolation, she finds solace with James, a young man who can see her, and they develop romantic feelings. However, when James stops visiting, Natalia's heart is broken, and she ultimately decides to move on to the afterlife.
