In 1960, Professor Ruckus Mandulbaum created the Titan badge, granting humans a specific superpower. He took in three struggling teens, forming an unconventional family of superheroes who gained fame and admiration. As time passed, the commercial family disintegrated, and the Professor replaced the team with new teen superheroes. In 1979, two grown-up original superheroes sought their Titan badges back, even if it meant robbing the Professor's museum and inadvertently taking hostages.
The Hyperions
