Smugglers are profiting from smuggling gold from Mexico due to the US going off the gold standard. A federal agent, Alan O'Connor, is sent to track down the killers and disrupt the operation. He discovers a map leading to the gang's American headquarters, a mine in California, and sets out to apprehend them.
