A brother's loyalty is tested when he discovers his sibling's all-consuming passion for a woman, only to find himself developing his own romantic feelings for her as he tries to uncover the truth about her emotions.

World War I flying ace Bill Taylor, a charismatic barnstormer, takes his young brother Jimmy on the road, but their adventure takes a romantic turn when Jimmy falls for nightclub singer Pat Riley. Bill's concerns about Pat's reputation lead him to investigate, only to discover she's a kind and devoted daughter trying to care for her mother. As Bill becomes smitten with Pat, his relationship with Jimmy becomes strained.
