The documentary follows Syrian construction workers in exile, who have lost their past and future, stuck in a perpetual present. Despite building new skyscrapers in Beirut on the ruins of the Lebanese civil war, their own homes in Syria are being destroyed. Confined to the construction site each night, they're haunted by news of their homeland and memories of war, their only solace being the new day's arrival.
