A quirky comedy follows the Soviet ship "Evgeniy Onegin" as it transports tigers and lions to the zoo, but things take a turn when a mischievous monkey escapes and releases the predators onto the deck. However, the team is surprised to find a kind and gentle barmaid, Marianne, who has a deep affection for animals and is able to tame them, ultimately restoring order and returning the tigers to their enclosures.
