Songs and Saddles background

Songs and Saddles

A virtuoso musician embarks on a perilous journey to protect a defenseless rancher from a cunning swindler who seeks to seize his land.

In this classic Western, a cunning schemer and his henchmen plot to outsmart an elderly rancher, whose property is slated for demolition to make way for a new highway. The plot thickens when Gene Austin, the rancher's foster son, arrives to lend a hand and defend their land. Austin, a talented singer-songwriter, performs five original songs, showcasing his unique style. However, his riding skills leave much to be desired, making for an amusing contrast between his musical talents and his lack of equestrian expertise.
