Salome

A Jewish princess returns to Galilee after being exiled from Rome, clashing with her parents, the king and queen, amidst criticism from a prophet.

In ancient Rome, a prophet named John the Baptist preaches against King Herod and Queen Herodias, who seek to eliminate him. Meanwhile, the king's stepdaughter, Princess Salome, returns and becomes the focus of Herod's attention, which Herodias uses to manipulate him. However, Salome and her lover Claudius are showing signs of converting to the new religion, and their famous dance takes an unexpected turn.
