In a future where law enforcement relies on advanced technology, one detective, Channing Taylor, prefers a more traditional approach. When a criminal escapes, Taylor is suspended for not using his equipment, which was invented by his own ancestor. Believing the criminal sent a time machine into the past, Taylor tracks him to the point of departure and jumps into the machine, arriving 100 years earlier.
