Oedipus Rex

A young couple in pre-war Italy have a baby boy, but the father's jealousy leads to a mysterious and ancient journey. The baby, named Edipo, is rescued from death and raised by the King and Queen of Corinth as their own. Years later, an oracle reveals a chilling prophecy: Edipo will kill his father and marry his mother, prompting him to flee and escape his supposed destiny.
