A group of MIT engineers and artists, led by Chris Korda, a cross-dressing musician and programmer, created a fake suicide cult in the 1990s. They used a mix of Neo-Dadaism, culture jamming, and media pranks to challenge anti-abortion extremists and raise awareness about environmental issues.
