Harlam, an Anglo-Indian from England, was fascinated by Myanmar's ancient cultural heritage. His adopted son, Elvis Htet Paing, spent over a decade in Europe before being accused of a crime at a Yangon attorney office on Pansodan St. Saung Nanda, the general's daughter, inherited her father's love for ancient history, discovery, and collecting artifacts. She gained the power to find historical treasures from her father's inheritance and was known as Saung Nandar.
