Two women, Yael and Melissa, who met as strippers in Japan seven years prior, reconnect in the USA in 2009. Yael, an Israeli photographer, had been documenting their friendship, which had been marked by Melissa's revelation of her traumatic past, including an abusive father and three abandoned children. Despite Yael's success as an artist and her happy marriage, Melissa was struggling to find her footing in life. The film is a powerful portrayal of the reunion of two courageous and sincere women.
