In the Wild West, a young man named Joe is sent by his dying father's wish to become a real man. Despite his dislike for guns and fights, Joe's three rough teachers try to toughen him up. However, it's not until Joe must defend himself against jealous gunman Morton, who's threatened by Joe's romance with the beautiful daughter of rancher Ohlsen, that he learns to stand up for himself.
