Love background

Love

Intricate stories of a Yugoslav assassin, his former lover, and her police officer partner unfold in New York City, as their lives become inextricably linked.

In a gripping tale, a narrator sets the stage as events unfold from multiple perspectives. Vanya, a former Yugoslavian hitman, struggles to find purpose in New York after his country's collapse. Anna, a European physician, has arrived in the city after volunteering in war-torn Bosnia and is now involved with a policeman, Dirk, who's on temporary leave. When Vanya arrives at a hotel for a seemingly simple job, he's met with a gruesome discovery: a dead body. As he takes the case, he begins to suspect he's been set up, with a murderer hot on his heels. Meanwhile, Anna finds herself in the crosshairs when she becomes Vanya's hostage in the hotel, while Dirk waits outside, oblivious to the chaos unfolding nearby. Can Dirk locate Anna and unravel the mystery surrounding Vanya's job, or will more lives be lost in the chaos?
