Two U.S. Marshals, Lash LaRue and Fuzzy Jones, are hired by a local banker to clean up a bandit-ridden territory. They devise a plan where Lash impersonates the notorious outlaw El Azote, donning a mask and wielding a bull-whip to pull off a series of heists. However, Lash's true intentions are to return the stolen goods to their rightful owners once he uncovers El Azote's identity.
