In 1976 Nice, Agnès Le Roux, a young woman, falls deeply in love with Maurice Agnelet, a lawyer 10 years her senior. However, their relationship is complicated by Agnès's mother, who is the owner of the Palais de la Méditerranée, and Fratoni, a rival businessman who tries to sabotage their love.
